“Remember Serrão Martins”, the first mayor of Mértola elected in democracy, a week to celebrate, digitally, the culture and heritage of the region.
Between the days 19 and 27 March, the municipality of Mértola once again recalls Serrão Martins, the first elected mayor in democracy, through a set of initiatives that take place this year in digital format.
Over the course of a week, the municipality proposes a poster that has several initiatives and its main objective is to evoke the memory and vision of Serrão Martins, as well as the prominent place that this has always attributed to Culture and Heritage.
The program, in honor of Serrão Martins, brings together various initiatives such as conversations, gatherings, concertos, sharing of poems on World Poetry Day and radio broadcasts.
