The four tents were set up with the collaboration of the Beja Nucleus of the Portuguese Red Cross and the Portuguese Army through the Infantry Regiment no. 1 Beja, in coordination with the Municipality of Beja.
The tents concerned will receive 24 rearmost beds for cases where prophylactic isolation cannot be accomplished in the home.
Also at the municipal aerodrome, 6 beds by the Portuguese Army for positive cases. They are therefore more 30 responses to infected.
The Mayor of Beja said that “even if together and in articulation, we can not, unfortunately, promise to be okay”, justifying that “we can ensure that we do, to the limit, everything we can to prevent and mitigate the consequences of this damn virus”, concluded.
