Serpa: Front shock makes four injured. One was helitransportado to Lisbon.


A front shock, Monday afternoon, na EN260, between Beja and Serpa, about five kilometers Serpa, caused four injuries.

One of the wounded, a Portuguese 59 year old, site was removed by helicopter, while the other three victims (another Portuguese citizen and two Spanish) They were sent by ambulance to the Beja Hospital.

The Portuguese citizen has 48 years and the Spaniards 23 and 32 year old, all residents em Rosal de la Frontera (Spain), although the Portuguese citizen is born in Vila Nova de São Bento.

The accident occurred at about 16,40 hours, whose causes are still unknown, forced to the total cutting means, leaving tens of stationary vehicles or to go detours to continue way to and from Spain, after having formed a traffic jam, especially towards the border,with about five kilometers. A EN 260 It was only reopened to 18,00 hours.

On site were 17 operational supported by six vehicles from Serpa Fire and GNR and a helicopter from the INEM based in Évora.
