Beja: Municipal Merit Awards 2018, ratified in Municipal Assembly.
The Beja Municipal Assembly ratified the end of the afternoon's proposals Beja City Council for the allocation of Municipal Merit Awards 2018.
The proposals approved at the executive meeting of the Municipality of Beja, which was completed last Friday, behind closed doors, contemplated the award of the Municipal Merit Medal 2018, the three institutions and a citizen. Voted at its regular meeting today at the Municipal Assembly were all approved.
As the Lidador News had advanced on Wednesday, one of the institutions was among those listed was the Beja Skating Club, to complete in 2018, 25 years old, that joined the People's House Penedo Gordo and Social Center and Hope Neighborhood Recreativo, that joined individually the former Civil Governor, Manuel Masseno.
They attended the Municipal Assembly 32 of 33 elected, having the following votes were obtained:
Beja skating club: Approved unanimously.
Social Center and Hope Neighborhood Recreativo: Approved by majority, with 31 votes to 1 against.
Penedo Gordo People's House: Approved by majority, with 30 votes to 2 against.
Manuel Masseno: Approved by majority, with 26 votes to 6 against.
As is traditional allocation of “Municipal Merit Awards”, will take place in Solemn Session to be held in the Great Hall of the Municipality of Beja, next day 10 May, Thursday Ascension, Municipal holiday, in Beja.
