Odemira: Participatory budgeting 2019.


Participatory Budgeting Odemira 2019, receives proposals for material and immaterial projects between April and June totaling 500 thousand euros.

Odemira is starting a new cycle of the Participatory Budget (ON), where are the citizens submitting investment proposals and are citizens who decide, through voting, the proposals to be implemented by the municipality, no valor global de 500 thousand euros.

Between the months of April and June due to phase proposals, in which 2019 introduces the possibility for citizens to submit proposals for projects immaterial.

Can participate in the Participatory Budgeting Odemira all citizens from 14 years, residents, workers or students in the county. Proposals must be submitted in individual name, by online page dedicated to the OP (www.op.cm-odemira.pt), the Single Window of the City, KIOSK BU's we Colos, Savoy, S. Teotónio and Vila Nova de Milfontes and Participation Meetings to be held in all parishes. Proposals can be made tangible and intangible, in the areas of municipal competence, focusing on the collective level of investment.

The municipality affects the OP process the amount of 500 thousand euros. this value, 250.000,00€ are intended to promoted projects in the inland county parishes with less population 1500 population; the remaining € 250,000.00 are promoted projects in the parishes of the county's coastline and / or with a population of 1500 population. Proposals for material nature should not exceed the amount of € 125.000,00, including the preparation of project costs. Proposals for immaterial nature should not exceed the amount of € 62.500,00.

Technical analysis of proposals take place between 1 July and 15 October, including the period 10 days to submit any complaints by stakeholders. During the month of November, the vote will be available through SMS, from page www.op.cm-odemira.pt, the Single Window, in Odemira and headquarters of Parish Councils.

Streamlined continuously from 2011, Participatory Budgeting integrates Odemira Municipality's strategy to enhance public participation, through positive and constructive factors, based on proximity principles, transparency and opportunity.
