Alqueva: new tariff, water prices low, entered force yesterday

So, applying the tariff to the supply of irrigation water from the primary alqueva network will be 3 cents per cubic meter for entities that have the charge other uses hydroagricultural.
Precarious irrigators, not included in the beneficiary areas, but receiving water under pressure, pay 7,7 cents per cubic meter, while the low pressure, and also for the poor, the price is 3,8 cents per cubic meter consumed.
For irrigation Alqueva, particularly those in the areas managed by edia, the price of water at high pressure is 5,9 cents per cubic meter, and 3,2 cents per cubic meter for low pressure, which adds to the conservation component (flat rate) of, 55€ / ha and € 20 / ha, respectively.
They also determined the tariff for public water supply of 0.045 € / m3, for industrial supply of 0,06 € / m3.
